The Iain Donovan Memorial Educational Fund has been established to ensure that Iain’s desire to help Veterans and students will continue.
The purpose of the fund is to provide funding to deserving Veterans in need of financial assistance to purchase necessary materials that are not included in the cost of tuition, such as textbooks

About Iain
The world lost Iain Donovan unexpectedly on May 28, 2014.
Iain and his parents are devoted supporters of U.S. military personnel and Veterans. Iain’s father is a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
While in high school Iain excelled in his Automotive Technology courses. He was awarded the “Adrian Colasacco Memorial Scholarship” for automotive technology” upon graduating.
Iain’s educational goals changed drastically during the last semester of his senior year. After graduating from high school in 2012, Iain surprised his family and applied to a degree program at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) in Massachusetts.
Iain completed his training at UTI in Diesel and Industrial Technology.
While at UTI, Iain was recognized for finishing in the top of his class, having perfect attendance as well as receiving an ABK nomination for further study.
Not only did Iain excel in school, but he sought out students who were struggling and worked to mentor them.
Iain was a proud member of the Newton Police Explorer Program where he received many awards for his competition in police oriented events.
